The Real Story Behind Your iPhone

Folks. While there is nothing wrong with making profit, even billions of dollars like Apple, Inc., there is something wrong with the conditions of factories making our gadgets in China. Compound this with "Designed in California Assembled in China" nonsense. Make the products in the USA. Make a tad less profit. Stop the conditions of these factories. This would not happen in the US. Regardless of whether conditions get better in China, which they should, the products can and should be made here.

What can you do? Start looking at the label of your goods and choose those that are made here and in the West. Here's a secret for you - China is the enemy.

Free Trade, Donald Trump, and Stupid Politicians

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump tells it like it is. Our politicians are selling us out. He says its because of incompetence and stupidity. Maybe so, but it is more than this. It is because of pure greed. Those politicians and leaders of big business make more money by dealing with China. They have no motivation to keep factories and jobs in the United States. They only care about how much their bonuses and salaries will be. Now there is nothing wrong with profit and big salaries, but there is something wrong, perhaps even a bit treasonous, about putting these before your country.

What can we do? Stop buying products from our enemies when there is an alternative and question the motives of our politicians who spout out the virtues of "free trade".

Good video. Give it a look.

United States vs China

Op/Ed:The United States versus China – Glenn Beck: "The greatest threat facing the United States in the twenty first century is the risk of war with China. That issue is rarely discussed in the popular media."

This is an excellent article well worth the few minutes of reading. Readers of PoliticsReligionTruth.com have known for a long time that China is a growing threat; a threat we have continued to neglect by shipping our treasurer for their goods and gadgets. American business goes to our enemy first when it comes to manufacturing goods that have been developed in the States. Just look on the back of an ipod. "Designed in California. Assembled in China". Shameful! Equally troubling is our, the American consumer, obsession with all things China. How much effort does it take to look at the tag on a purchase to see where it was made? Is there an alternative? Sometimes there is not, but sometimes there is. The other product may be a little more expensive, but it will not cost us our country in the long run.

So much is in our control, but our choices get fewer and fewer the longer we wait. Do not supply our enemies. Yes, we need to pray for our enemies, but they must be treated as such or they will defeat us not only economically, but militarily.

NPR Shows How China's Influence is Expanding World-Wide

NPR is currently doing a series of articles related to China's growing influence around the world. These articles and sound clips include aspects that deal with it military, trade, construction and even includes an interactive map. A listing of all such current and future articles may be found here. There are also various articles on this site that are tagged "China". It is recommended reading.

United States to Implement Training Program for Workers in Manufacturing

White House, industry expand programs to educate, train workers - The Hill's On The Money: "Government and industry will step up their efforts to train and educate workers for the manufacturing sector, President Obama said on Wednesday.

An expansion of the Skills for America’s Future program will give high school and college students a clearly defined set of skills and courses they'll need to get a job in the industry, provide new mentoring programs and scholarships for those interested in engineering, along with a new jobs website, the president said during a trip to Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria.
Its great that we are training folks to manufacture goods. However, how will we be able to manufacture goods if nothing is being manufactured here? The myth of "free trade" just meant that foreign manufacturing could get into the US for "free". Republicans have promised that if we only show the world how free trade works, they would reciprocate and open up their markets. Well, it hasn't happened and its not going to.

The horse is just about out of the barn at this point. We could have used tariffs to protect the good jobs that we had. If we tried that now, the manufacturers would just go somewhere else since the US market does not dominate like it once did. But hey, there is no time like the present to start trying something. Guess we could train our people for non-existent jobs or maybe we could start playing hardball with countries like China and those companies inside and outside of the United States that do business with our enemy.

Iranian President to Meet Russian, Chinese Presidents

Jerusalem Post: Ahmadinejad launches brutal attack on Israel at Asian security conference, saying Zionism is one of history's worst ills, also slams US, West for slavery, colonialization, World Wars, use of nuclear weapons.

China, the Debt Ceiling, and Aircraft Carriers

The Oval: Tracking the Obama presidency: "Li Daokui, an adviser to the People's Bank of China, told reporters in Beijing, 'I think there is a risk that the U.S. debt default may happen.' And he puts the blame on congressional Republicans. 'The result will be very serious and I really hope that they would stop playing with fire,' he said.

Ok. What do you do when you are racking up too many credit card bills? Go out and charge more? Ask more banks to send you another card since the ones you had been using just don't work the same any more? Lunacy! This is exactly what the current Administration is proposing.

The answer is that you need to cut back on your expenses and live within your means. Whacky idea. Now our "friends" in China feel compelled to opine on the goings-on over here. How about they concentrate on building their first aircraft carrier...with our money. Yes. That's right. China is building its first aircraft carrier. Why? Do we answer that question or just stick our heads in a hole as we have been doing for decades now? It is obvious. They wish to supplant the United States as the world's sole super power. They are doing it with currency, the economy, and the military.

China Slaps US with 25% Tariff - US Does Nothing

Associated Press - The luxury market in China has been growing more than twice as fast as the overall auto industry, but American automakers lack a credible entry.
This article goes on to say that the Communist Chinese government slaps a 25% tariff on these luxury imports. Does the United States reciprocate? We import as much of their cheap products as possible. When will we learn? Our exports are reduced by their tariffs because they want to protect their own market. What do we want to protect? If only the United States would be concerned about its own jobs as China is theirs, perhaps there would not be a $14 Trillion deficit today.

Oh, and here is another nice article about how Ford is building a $350 transmission plant in China. Fools! China is the enemy of the West. Stop sending our enemy our money. They only laugh at us for being the fool.

Makers of our gadgets in China exploit its own Population

Not only do we send our money to our enemy, Communist China, but we promote their government's mistreatment of its citizens. Recently there was an explosion at a prominent factory that killed two. That can happen. But this is the same company, Foxconn, that had to put anti-suicide nets outside its buildings because the workers were jumping out of the windows. We should not support such treatment of the citizens of China and we should not support the anti-West government of China. They are the enemy. We are our own worst enemy when we aid those that will eventually seek our destruction. Wake up! Look at the tags on the products that you buy before you make a purchase. Make sure it is not from China. Its that easy. Shame on companies like Apple that continue to produce its goods from there. "Designed in California". Great. Thanks for that, Apple.

Communist China's Oppression of Christians

AlbertMohler.com – Nero in Beijing — The Communist Party Declares War on Christians: "The news out of China grows worse as reports of the arrest, detention, harassment, and beatings of Christians come from across China. The most publicized case thus far is the repeated oppression against a Beijing congregation that has led to numerous arrests and a crackdown within China’s capital.
China continues to oppress its people while living large on the West's money. How many times in human history has one society given freely its wealth and treasurer to its enemy? The West will one day look back and wonder why it gave up so easily. Only about 40 years ago, it was incredible that Nixon even made a simple trip to this Communist country. Today, they have virtually taken (or been given) enough resources to  create an economy and military that rivals any other around the world except for that of the United States. Soon, this too will be overcome.

China Surpases United States in 5 Years - Wall Street Journal

Wall Street Journal - MarketWatch: "For the first time, the international organization has set a date for the moment when the “Age of America” will end and the U.S. economy will be overtaken by that of China. IMF sees China topping U.S. in 2016"

Is there any doubt about what should be done? Read here for details. Its not too late unless we continue to think everything will be okay if we do nothing.

Church: Police block Beijing Easter service

Church: Police block Beijing Easter service - CNN.com: "The site of a planned outdoor Easter service at one of China's largest independent 'house' churches was eerily silent Sunday as police blocked more than 500 worshippers from leaving their homes and detained more than 36 for attempting to attend religious services in Beijing, church officials said."

Your future in a China-dominated world:

Continue to send your money to them and they will dominate your life. Check where the products you buy are made and make choices that may cost you a little more now, but will reduce the cost of your life and liberty in the future.

United States Credit Rating Outlook Negative While China Urged to Divest

Here are two articles that appear on the same day that should send shivers up your spine. First, the outlook on the credit worthiness of the United States is being more and more diminished. Soon, we will see the actual US rating lowered. This will send shock waves around the world since the United States has been seen as a stable and sure investment for decades. When this fantasy is finally seen as what it is, investors will shed US bonds and notes making it more difficult and expensive to fund the activities we have not been able to afford for over thirty years.

Equally concerning is the loud drumbeat coming from our enemy, China. They have been implying for some time that they would prefer to see a different currency be the world's standard other than the dollar. Now they are indicating they may need to divest some of their loans to the United States. Smart move on their part since investments in the US are becoming less safe, but it is bad news to the West. We need to wake up and stop sending our money to our enemies in the Far East and Middle East. The USSR fell from within. The United States is not immune to the same thing while getting assistance to that end from those who want our money on one hand, but would like to see our destruction on the other.
Stocks fall as U.S. credit rating outlook lowered to 'negative' by Standard & Poor's [Updated] | Money & Company | Los Angeles Times: "The credit rating agency Standard & Poor's lowered the outlook on the United States' credit to 'negative,' sending leading stock indexes down in early trading.
The report released Monday morning says that the United States has a large debt and deficit compared with other highly rated nations, and unlike with those other nations 'the path to addressing [the debt and deficit] is not clear to us.'

China Must Cut Foreign-Exchange Reserves, PBOC’s Zhou Says - Bloomberg: "“Foreign-exchange reserves have exceeded the reasonable levels that we actually need,” Zhou said. “The rapid increase in reserves may have led to excessive liquidity and has exerted significant sterilization pressure. If the government doesn’t strike the right balance with its policies, the build-up could cause big risks,” he said, without elaborating...
Lending Spree
The nation’s currency holdings jumped by the second-biggest amount on record in the January to March period, even as the nation reported its first quarterly trade deficit in seven years. Economists attributed much of the increase to capital inflows betting on appreciation of the yuan.

The future of the United States if we do not wake up. Highly recommended.

China on the Rise in the Mediterranean (and the World) -Video

China is on the rise and the West is on the decline. Never have they had their navy in the Mediterranean. This CNN video summarizes the issues in an excellent way.

End

Simply the Best National Security Article Recently Written-A Must Read (video)

The United States and the West are unprepared for today's challenges. Considering our National, State, local, and personal debt load, our propensity to spend without limit, and the lack of foresight into the real and present threats of those who are not our friends, significant changes in thought and action must take place very soon or there will be little hope for our future. How can we continue to send our national treasure to China and Arab states that only seek our demise? We must wake up to their threats or there will not be time to prepare once our enemies take advantage of our weakness. We were caught unprepared for World War 2. Fortunately, we were isolated from our enemies enough to produce a fierce army and overthrow those that meant to destroy us. Those countries of Europe and Asia that were closer in proximity to Japan and Germany did not have that luxury. They too did not prepare for the rising threat. They were unprepared just as the United States was and is in this day. They were quickly overtaken by their enemies.

The following is an excellent summary of where the West is today in relation to those that would seek its destruction, a "must read":
(Excerpt-read the complete article at the link shown)(Also see video below)
Brian T. Kennedy - Imprimis We are often told that we possess the most powerful military in the world and that we will face no serious threat for some time to come. We are comforted with three reassurances aimed at deflecting any serious discussion of national security: (1) that Islam is a religion of peace; (2) that we will never go to war with China because our economic interests are intertwined; and (3) that America won the Cold War and Russia is no longer our enemy. But these reassurances are myths, propagated on the right and left alike. We believe them at our peril, because serious threats are already upon us.
Islamic authorities of all the major branches of Islam hold that the Koran must be read so that the parts written last override the others. This so-called theory of abrogation means that the ruling parts of the Koran are those written after Muhammad went to Medina in 622 A.D. Specifically, they are Suras 9 and 5, which are not the Suras containing the verses often cited as proof of Islam’s peacefulness.
[C]onsider a 2007 survey of American Muslim opinion conducted by the Pew Research Center. Eight percent of American Muslims who took part in this survey said they believed that suicide bombing can sometimes be justified in defense of Islam. Even accepting a low estimate of three million Muslims in the U.S., this would mean that 240,000 among us hold that suicide bombing in the name of Islam can be justified.
China is building an advanced army, navy, air force, and space-based capability that is clearly designed to limit the U.S. and its ability to project power in Asia. It has over two million men under arms and possesses an untold number of ICBMs—most of them aimed at the U.S.—and hundreds of short- and medium-range nuclear missiles.
[I]t is widely held in China that America is on the decline, with economic problems that will limit its ability to modernize its military and maintain its alliances.
[C]onservatives have been basking in the glow of “winning the Cold War.” But in what sense was it won, it might be asked, given that we neither disarmed Russia of its nuclear arsenal nor put a stop to its active measures to undermine us.
On our part, we have not even tested a nuclear warhead since 1992—which is to say that we aren’t certain they work anymore. Nor have we maintained any tactical nuclear weapons. Nor, to repeat, have we built the missile defense system first proposed by President Reagan.
[C]an any government claim to occupy the moral high ground when it willingly, knowingly, and purposely keeps its people nakedly vulnerable to nuclear missiles?
We spend our resources developing modest defense systems to deal, albeit inadequately, with these so-called rogue states, and meanwhile forego addressing the more serious threat from Russia and China, both of which are modernizing their forces.
[T]he American people have proved capable of forcing a change in direction when they learn the facts. Americans do not wish to be subjected to Sharia law, owe large sums of money to the Chinese, or be kept vulnerable to nuclear missiles. [I]t is now time for us to remind our representatives of the constitutional requirement to provide for a common defense—in the true sense of the word.

China-US Trade deficit hits record - Good Job America!

Great job everyone! We have set another record!
AFP: US trade gap widens as China deficit hits record: "WASHINGTON — The US trade deficit grew in December as imports rose at the fastest pace since June, while the politically sensitive gap with China hit a record for the year, official data showed Friday.
The total cumulative deficit with China since we have been accumulating deficits beginning in 1985 is now a mere $2,377,694,800,000. That is over $2.3 trillion of our money that has been shipped overseas to our enemy. Has one country militarily pillaged another country to such a degree in the history of the world? And we do this to ourselves willingly.

DONALD TRUMP is the only one that seems to understand the situation. He has spoken out about this before. Listen to him! He's right. A video of him talking to Piers Morgan is shown below:

Middle East Crisis and the West's Decline

In this video, Glenn Beck talks to Joel Rosenberg about the [end] times we are possibly living in. Iran's use of nuclear weapons could do in "six" minutes what it took Nazi Germany years to do. Countries need to take this threat more seriously.

The events in the Middle East may take us closer to the events of Revelation in the Bible. Nobody knows. There have certainly been wars and rumors of war in the Middle East for centuries now. The difference today from that of the last few decades is the wide-spread outbreak of chaos. This chaos could spread to other counties. With the United States and Western Countries trying to come to terms with mounting debt and threats of a rising superpower in the form of China, the Middle East chaos could have a deleterious effect on any economic recovery in those countries.

Alongside economic difficulties, many could site moral and societal issues that will compound the problems of the West. Homosexuality, licentious behavior at all age levels, murders and wide-spread violence; the chaos seems to be the new norm in the West. May a "strong man" come in to make things right? How could we possibly turn our society around and right this ship? The electorate is of no opinion to turn it around. The Republican landslide of recent days focused more on taxes and economics. Perhaps it will stave off the inevitable decline, but the decline appears to be coming faster than we would like to admit. We continue to incur massive amounts of debt on a national, state, municipal and personal level with no end in site. Something must be done or the system will implode and the radicals in the Middle East and those in China will finally be able to take advantage of our weakness.

China Discovered America in 1421

Amazon Book Description of "1421":
Menzies makes the fascinating argument that the Chinese discovered the Americas a full 70 years before Columbus. Not only did the Chinese discover America first, but they also, according to the author, established a number of subsequently lost colonies in the Caribbean. Furthermore, he asserts that the Chinese circumnavigated the globe, desalinated water, and perfected the art of cartography. In fact, he believes that most of the renowned European explorers actually sailed with maps charted by the Chinese. Though most historical records were destroyed during centuries of turmoil in the Far East, he manages to cobble together some feasible evidence supporting his controversial conclusions. Sure to cause a stir among historians, this questionable tale of adventure on the high seas will be hotly debated in academic circles. Margaret Flanagan
Now that China is taking over the world with American and Western money, the rewriting of history can begin. Not only are we shipping our money to China in return for products that rust and decay, we are now helping with the invention of China as a dominate world power going back 500 years. The author is British. One would think that China would be part of this, but this is not the case. Just as we are to blame for our own decline and China's rise, we are apparently helping them out with history too!
