Mormons Bought the Big Lie. You Know. The Original One.

So what happened in the beginning? Yes, that beginning. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. He also created the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. He told the Earth's first two inhabitants not to eat of this tree or they will surely die. This is where the big lie comes in. The serpent, that nasty talking snake convinced the woman that God had lied to them. That they would not surely die. He said that once they ate of the tree, that they would be as God. Now that's a lie. You know the rest.

So let's flash forward a bit to the 1800's when Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism, starts his new religion. What does he tell the folks that find him interesting? He tells them the big lie. The original one. He or one of his subordinates said, and Mormons today believe, that God (you know, God the Father, creator of everything) was once a man just like us. Somehow he was able to live a good life and earn his very own planet. Yes, his planet is the planet Earth. The one we all know and love. The lie goes on to say that we too, if we are good Mormons, can someday earn our own planet where, you guessed it, we can become as God. Yes, you too can have your very own planet to literally Lord over. How nice. They even have their very own bible.

Does this resemble anything close to orthodox Christianity? Do not be deceived. They are not Christian in any sense of the word.

Presbyterians and Gay Clergy

Youngstown News, Presbyterians moving toward acceptance of gay clergy: "After decades of debate, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) on Tuesday struck down a barrier to ordaining gays, ratifying a proposal that removes the celibacy requirement for unmarried clergy, in the latest mainline Protestant move toward accepting gay relationships.

What exactly is an apostate church? One criteria would certainly be to condone and promote activities that are clearly sinful in the site of God, the One whom we are to please. This is the case when churches do not discipline for clear sin and is especially relevant when they endorse and promote those in open sin to positions of authority.

Romans 1:26b-28 "Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done."

What is so hard about this to understand? If you do not want to be a Christian, then do not be a Christian. That is up to you and the Lord. However if you are choosing to use that label, you sort of need to abide by the clear teaching of scripture...whether you like it or not.

This guy is as bad as Joel Osteen. Why do folks call themselves Christians when they do not hold to the teachings clearly taught in the Christian bible? It would be better if they started their own religion and called it something completely different.

Joel Osteen Claims Mormons are Christians - Video

Joel Osteen does not want to "judge the little details of it", so he says that Mormons are Christians. The little details? He admits he has not "studied" or "thought" about it. Maybe he should. It has been clearly demonstrated here that Mormons are not Christians even though they say they are. Do they "believe" in Jesus? Yes, but even the demons believe. What Jesus or what god do they believe in? The Trinity-One God of historic Christianity? No. They believe in many gods. As a matter of fact, they will one day be gods themselves. Guess they do not remember a little episode around an apple tree where someone was promised that she could be "as God".

There are no common bonds between Mormonism and true Christianity.

Christian Church Renting Space to Muslims for Prayer

Huckabee Condemns Christian Church Renting Space to Muslims - Washington DC RNC | Examiner.com: Huckabee - "you just wonder, what are they thinking? If the purpose of a church is to push forward the gospel of Jesus Christ, and then you have a muslim group that says that Jesus Christ and all the people that follow him are a bunch of infidels who should be essentially obliterated, I have a hard time understanding that."

The author of the article goes on to say the following:

It is reasonable to argue that prayer to the same one God that Muslims and Christians believe is in keeping with the church’s mandate and not an aberration from Christian worship.

The belief that Muslims and Christians pray to the same God is just plain incorrect which is clearly disputed here. Muslims merely used the Christian and Jewish scripture to write their own "scripture". It was not until the 600's AD that their religion violently entered the Middle East. By then, the Christian religion had spread throughout the world perpetuated by its adoption by the Roman Empire. 


Christians who believe Jesus is God should never allow a religion that worships other gods to pray in their church. What does Christ have to do with these other gods? He condemns them. They are an abomination to Him and they should be to Christian churches. Yes. We should pray for Muslims and those who follow Islam, but we should pray that they come to the saving knowledge and truth of Jesus Christ, the living God.

John MacArthur Rebukes Joel Osteen

In this video, John MacArthur shows how the teaching of Joel Osteen is really satanic. Osteen's message is that we can have it all now - your best life now. As MacArther indicates, that would only be true if one were going to hell.

If one looks at Osteen's "church", it is actually a converted sporting arena that holds over 16,000 at one time. Is this a sign of truth? I think not. When Jesus preached the truth, he actually lost disciples. If you only preach what the people want to hear, they will come. Hitler knew this. He led people by talking about their basest, ugliest desires. Osteen's message is a little prettier, but no more Godly.

Judgment Day: May 21, 2011

The new day for the rapture is October 21. Anybody worried about this? I didn't think so.

This is the same guy, Harold Camping, who has set dates for the end of the world before. Sad, but interesting. Someday, end time events will actually take place and nobody will pay attention because of people like this.

If you are one who believes that this day is approaching and the rapture or the return of Christ will take place, do not be discouraged on May 22. Nothing happened that should shake your faith. Have faith in the essentials which include things like the death and bodily resurrection of Christ. The End Times are interesting and these things (not the rapture) will definitely take place. But the timing is not for us to know. When May 22 comes, question your teacher, but do not question your faith.

Joel Osteen's Skewed Mission - Video

Joel Osteen says his mission is to help people forgive and to have "right thoughts". Those thousands of individuals that you see in the video need to know they they can be forgiven by the perfect and Holy God by the sacrifice of the Perfect and Holy Son, Jesus Christ. They need to understand that some of their thoughts that are not "right" are sinful and they need a savior. They need forgiveness while learning to forgive others.

If he was a motivational speaker, there would not be such a problem with his "mission". However, he purports to be a minister of the Word of God. Consequently, he should be held to a higher standard. We should be in prayer for him and those that follow him.
