President Obama's Teleprompter Parody

This video put out by the White House is worth watching. Kind of funny...even though this type of video, done by many Presidents, makes the office look a little less dignified. In the long run, it does the office and the country harm. However in the meantime, we can enjoy ourselves. We are good at that at least.

Donald Trump Says All The Right Things, But In The Wrong Way

There are not many who are speaking it like it should be said regarding China and the Middle East, but Donald Trump just made a big mistake. There is never a time when a President or a Presidential Candidate should be vulgar when speaking. It will be a sad day when the American people, because of their nonexistent values, elect someone that says things the way the Donald did recently. There is no excuse. Keep up the drum beat on China and our enemies in the Middle East, but do it in a more professional, more presidential way.

Obama Releases Long Lost Birth Certificate. So What!

Here is a link to the long lost birth certificate of United States President, Barak Obama. Response? So what! It was not a big deal when he did not release it and it is not a big deal now. The only question is why did the President play games with the public in not releasing long ago?

The President was elected by a majority of voters in America. Consequently, he should be President. Those that oppose his election should try to defeat him in an election and not play these games with birth certificates.

QE2 and Industrial Smoothing - Part 2

Fed Chairman Bernanke Is Boxed into No-Win Corner—What Will He Say Tomorrow? | Coin Update News: "In recent weeks, I have seen multiple reports that the Federal Reserve has been purchasing as much at 85% of all long-term US Treasury debt issues. The reason that this percentage is so high is that other buyers are shying away from purchasing US dollar-denominated debt. Potential buyers are steering clear of the US dollar because, adjusted for the effects of inflation, the value of the US dollar is now at its lowest level since 1973, the year when the US government began to allow the value of the dollar to float. Further, the value of the US dollar is still falling."

The first time the United States government started borrowing from itself, it was discussed here. Does it make sense that if others around the world are souring on the idea of giving us their money for our debt, that we continue to take money from one pocket and put it into another? This is the last breath of an economy that has little other choice. The only choices offered are difficult and it would take more courage for the politicians than they actually have. Drastic cutbacks and some degree of tax increases are necessary. Neither of these are easy. There are only difficult choices ahead. If left alone, the nature of economics will one day take hold and it will not be pleasant.

China Surpases United States in 5 Years - Wall Street Journal

Wall Street Journal - MarketWatch: "For the first time, the international organization has set a date for the moment when the “Age of America” will end and the U.S. economy will be overtaken by that of China. IMF sees China topping U.S. in 2016"

Is there any doubt about what should be done? Read here for details. Its not too late unless we continue to think everything will be okay if we do nothing.

Church: Police block Beijing Easter service

Church: Police block Beijing Easter service - CNN.com: "The site of a planned outdoor Easter service at one of China's largest independent 'house' churches was eerily silent Sunday as police blocked more than 500 worshippers from leaving their homes and detained more than 36 for attempting to attend religious services in Beijing, church officials said."

Your future in a China-dominated world:

Continue to send your money to them and they will dominate your life. Check where the products you buy are made and make choices that may cost you a little more now, but will reduce the cost of your life and liberty in the future.

United States Default on Debt and its Consequences

United States Default - The Associated Press: "The government now borrows about 42 cents of every dollar it spends. Imagine that one day soon, the borrowing slams up against the current debt limit ceiling of $14.3 trillion and Congress fails to raise it. The damage would ripple across the entire economy, eventually affecting nearly every American, and rocking global markets in the process."

The article above is an excellent summary of the current state of affairs regarding the national debt of United States and the debt ceiling debate. If you have not read anything regarding this, now is the time. It may be a bit boring, but it has the potential to effect most everyone's life not only in the United States, but around the world. You may have read recently where the credit outlook for the US has changed to negative by the rating agency, Standard and Poor's. If the US defaults, the Great Depression will look like a picnic in comparison. There will indeed be a New World Order with China likely the supreme power if they can even stand. This is worth your time to review.

The long term solution is not to continue to raise the debt ceiling. As you can see from above, 42 cents on every dollar spent is obtained by issuing more debt. The United States needs to dramatically reduce its spending and raise some taxes at the same time. Democrats do not like reduced spending and Republicans do not like higher taxes, but there are not many other choices. The only other alternative is to print more money causing massive inflation for the amount that would be necessary. There is one other alternative: Default.

Man Thought to be a god Dies

Sathya Sai Baba obituary: Sathya Sai Baba, considered a living god by millions of Hindus, dies at 84 - latimes.com: "Sathya Sai Baba declared himself the reincarnation of a Hindu saint in 1940 and built a huge and loyal following, including politicians, entertainers and sports stars, despite allegations of sexual abuse. He leaves a trust worth billions."

Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. This guy will stay in his grave until Judgment where he will meet the real God that defeated death. Jesus changed the world. This man changed the lives of many followers who were sadly as deluded as the one they followed.

Wars and Rumors of Wars

Are we in the Last Days? If you mean does the Antichrist reign and the sky is falling, then no. If you mean are we in a time that is very close to the tribulations revealed in the Bible, then yes. Certainly. Wars and Rumors of Wars have been around since the beginning of time. What makes this different are the signs that are more apparent today than at any other time in the past. May we be wrong. Yes. Many generations have thought they were in the Last Days. One generation will be correct. Jesus rebuked the leaders of His time on earth for not knowing the time in which they lived. He would do the same for us.

Good summary video of what happening in (the prelude to) these "Last Days".

Police Use Data Extraction Devices (DED) & Tracking Features of Smart Phones

Shown below are two articles regarding the use by law enforcement of the tracking features of your cell phone. One shows how they may see where you have been over an amount of time. The second article is even more concerning. According an ACLU news release, "several years ago, (Michigan State Police) acquired portable devices that have the potential to quickly download data from cell phones without the owner of the cellphone knowing."

Yes. We live in a world where our privacy is limited. The younger generation gives it up willingly. The older generation gives it up without even knowing it. However, the facts are clear and the pattern is clear. Authorities, whoever they may be in the future good or evil, will have the ability to track and monitor us without our knowledge. Just why do you think the President met with Google, Intel, and Apple? How about the features on phones that we think we may like including Google's Near Field Communication Plan, and Visa's march toward person to person payments? Are they beneficial in the long run? This site has reported how technology could turn cell phones into wallets. These are not isolated incidences without any connection. The pieces are falling into place. While our current governments may have nothing nefarious in mind, the track is being laid to our own Auschwitz. Look here and see how this network of technology will soon be used against us by a sole world leader. He will use it for control. He will use it to our detriment. Wake up! Look around you. Do not fall asleep to the drumbeat of normalcy. These things are not normal. They only appear to be normal to us because they are slowly happening around us and we adapt. Now is not the time for sleep, but to be active and prepare.

How police have obtained iPhone, iPad tracking logs | Privacy Inc. - CNET News: "Law enforcement agencies have known since at least last year that an iPhone or iPad surreptitiously records its owner's approximate location, and have used that geolocation data to aid criminal investigations.

State police aims to clarify data extraction device use: Michigan State Police says a claim by the American Civil Liberties Union that the agency has devices that can quickly download data from cell phones without the knowledge of the owner is untrue, and officials with Petoskey post say they aim to eliminate any such misconceptions.

Environmentalism Related to Christs' Crucifiction

Church leader likens inaction on climate to crucifying Christ: "The Moderator of the Uniting Church Synod of NSW and ACT, the Reverend Niall Reid, said in his Easter message that climate change was the result of ''unsustainable, unfettered and unthinking addiction to economic growth'', and those who could not entertain a less destructive path were like those who sent Jesus to the Cross for expediency's sake.
The "holy" church of environmentalism has made its way into the institutional church. This reminds one of comparisons to Adolph Hitler. Whenever someone does something that is not so nice, they are compared to Hitler. But is their behavior really comparable to someone who murdered millions of people? Not quite. So is the lack of environmental policy comparable to the crucification of  Christ?

Let us review just a little of what Jesus did and who He was:
  1. Born of a virgin
  2. Born and remained sinless His entire life
  3. Was fully God and fully man
  4. Was God's way of communicating Truth to man
  5. Was the Bridge that spanned the impassable golf between God and men because of sin
  6. Took our sin on Himself
  7. Gave us His righteousness
  8. Made us alive in Himself - rebirthed us into new creatures
We killed Him on a cross, the only truly good thing among us. We attempted to kill God Himself. But three days later, He arose and defeated sin and death for our sake.

Is environmentalism comparable to this? Perhaps this preacher needs to go back to seminary for a few more lessons.

Earth Day vs. Good Friday

Ecology Symbol
It appears that Earth Day and Good Friday fall on the same day in 2011. Does that leave a dilemma for some? Which should we celebrate? Or do we celebrate both? Earth Day originated after the decade of the 1960s. Some would say this decade has resulted in more ill for the Earth than any can remember. Prior to the 1960s, people had a sense of God, honor, and country. Since that time, all people can think of is themselves. They have made Self their god. This religion of Self has many outlets. One is radical environmentalism that is represented by events like Earth Day. Should we care for and maintain the Earth? Certainly. Should we make it a pillar of a religion of one's own making. Certainly not.

Today, even the tradition of showing up for church once each year has fallen out of favor...so we can spend more time on Self.

Which day wins? The one that celebrates the greatest day of all, the day the God-Man gave himself for us and died on a cross. Something truly worth celebrating.

United States Credit Rating Outlook Negative While China Urged to Divest

Here are two articles that appear on the same day that should send shivers up your spine. First, the outlook on the credit worthiness of the United States is being more and more diminished. Soon, we will see the actual US rating lowered. This will send shock waves around the world since the United States has been seen as a stable and sure investment for decades. When this fantasy is finally seen as what it is, investors will shed US bonds and notes making it more difficult and expensive to fund the activities we have not been able to afford for over thirty years.

Equally concerning is the loud drumbeat coming from our enemy, China. They have been implying for some time that they would prefer to see a different currency be the world's standard other than the dollar. Now they are indicating they may need to divest some of their loans to the United States. Smart move on their part since investments in the US are becoming less safe, but it is bad news to the West. We need to wake up and stop sending our money to our enemies in the Far East and Middle East. The USSR fell from within. The United States is not immune to the same thing while getting assistance to that end from those who want our money on one hand, but would like to see our destruction on the other.
Stocks fall as U.S. credit rating outlook lowered to 'negative' by Standard & Poor's [Updated] | Money & Company | Los Angeles Times: "The credit rating agency Standard & Poor's lowered the outlook on the United States' credit to 'negative,' sending leading stock indexes down in early trading.
The report released Monday morning says that the United States has a large debt and deficit compared with other highly rated nations, and unlike with those other nations 'the path to addressing [the debt and deficit] is not clear to us.'

China Must Cut Foreign-Exchange Reserves, PBOC’s Zhou Says - Bloomberg: "“Foreign-exchange reserves have exceeded the reasonable levels that we actually need,” Zhou said. “The rapid increase in reserves may have led to excessive liquidity and has exerted significant sterilization pressure. If the government doesn’t strike the right balance with its policies, the build-up could cause big risks,” he said, without elaborating...
Lending Spree
The nation’s currency holdings jumped by the second-biggest amount on record in the January to March period, even as the nation reported its first quarterly trade deficit in seven years. Economists attributed much of the increase to capital inflows betting on appreciation of the yuan.

Baseball Was Created by Chance Over Time

The game of baseball is a wonderful sport. However, there is no evidence that it was created by any one individual or a group of individuals. Given the right selection of materials, the equipment would come together through natural forces to form the field, the bases, and the viewing stands - all in the correct proportion and dimensions.  It is only a matter of time and chance.

The rules governing the game are also derived by natural forces over time. The number of outs, what constitutes an out, the direction the players move around the field, and the governing of various individuals to monitor the game in the form of umpires was all coordinated at precisely the exact moments the materials came together to fully form the rules and the structure of the game.

The documents that "prove" there was a designer of the game are so old they are to be considered unreliable. There are no witnesses of any such person who created the game. As a matter of fact, there is evidence that the game developed over time from other games infinitely regressing to a single elemental game using a stick and a rock.

Baseball came to be by chance over time. There is no reason to deduce there was any one or group that created the game. Those who believe so are superstitious, uneducated, and unintelligent.

What Would Jesus Say about the Nuclear and Earthquake Crisis in Japan?

Everybody knows what the acronym of WWJD means. It has become cliche today to allude to what Jesus would say in various situations. Seldom, however, do any of the antagonists actual have scriptural support for their proposition. But in the case of Japan and its nuclear catastrophe caused by an equally catastrophic Tsunami, we do know what Jesus would say to those who ask why. We have His actual words when he was asked about why several died at the hands of men or even why others died by "an act of God", natural or accidental causes. Take a look:
Luke 13:1 There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."
What did the Japanese do that justified the ocean sweeping aways thousands of their lives? What did they do to deserve a nuclear disaster that is being compared to Chernobyl? The answer is nothing worse than any of us from any other country. The answer is surprising. We all deserve a nuclear crisis and to be swept away by the winds or the waves. We have all rebelled against our Creator and continue to sin in our rebellion. What about all the innocent people though? There are no innocent people. Only by the grace of God and His mercy does the Earth not open up and swallow us all never to be seen again. A just God would do just that giving us what we deserve, but God is also a merciful God not wanting any to perish. He gives us time, even in our rebellion, to turn to Him.

So what do we do? We do what Jesus tells us to do. Repent. Repent from our sin and follow Jesus. He is the only sure foundation upon which to stand.

10 Questions that Will Solve Our Trade Deficit, National Debt, and Economy

The following are 10 questions that will solve the $14,000,000,000,000 national debt, our almost $500,000,000,000 annual trade deficit, and our economy in general:
  1. Where was your car built?
  2. Where were the clothes you have on made?
  3. Where was your home television set made?
  4. Where was your watch that you have on made?
  5. Where was your computer made?
  6. Where was your cell phone made?
  7. From what country did the gasoline that you put in your car come?
  8. Where were your eye glasses made?
  9. How about household appliances like your refrigerator or toaster?
  10.  Pick a canned or jarred food product. Where was it made?
Don't just laugh this off. Look! Look on the labels of your clothes, your food, your, electronics. Where was it made? Go to the store and look around. See where the products you buy are made and start making different choices.

We need to make things. We cannot continue to voluntarily allow foreign countries to pillage our goods to their benefit and our detriment.  It is unsustainable and just plain foolish.

There are ten questions above. What percent is made in the United States? Remember that anything under 60% is a failing grade.

Lastly, where were you made? Then how about supporting your country and your fellow countrymen.

Star Trek - Worship of the Sun

The original Star Trek series was great entertainment for the time. Created in the late 1960's, it integrated the Western genre and outer space themes while discussing relevant issues of the time. However during several episodes, one could wonder if they were not actually anti-God or anti-religious. This is because the series sometimes attempted to indirectly explain why life existed on Earth by pointing to some higher life form in outer space. These life forms could have created life here on Earth. Or because of the Prime Directive, they were not to interfere with the natural evolution of the native species. Later Star Trek series capitalized on this more than the original in terms of biological evolution while the original was more oriented to the technological advancement of a civilization.

There was one show in the original series that was blatantly Christian though. It was one of the more kooky ones (there were many). It was where an advanced society was complete with Roman gladiators. These battles would take place on television and the participants were worshipers of the Sun. However, there was a twist at the end. Not to give it away, take a look and then read on.

Yes. Many episodes were quite anti-religious, but the times were different back then. There were still elements of Christianity in the United States. We were not completely post-Christian and our entertainment reflected that at times. How times have changed. A newer series today would not be complete without flashes of sex and drug use and a myriad of profanities. This is normal, but it was not always like it is today. The trick is to take oneself out of the time in which one lives and look at life today more objectively. How should we live our lives? Not by looking at the behaviors and the norms of those around us, but by looking at something that is more objective; something that does not change with the whims and wisps of our neighbors. The only guide that would qualify for such objectivity is the Bible and the only way to truly live as our creator, the Son, intended, is to follow his Word without reservation. Pray for strength to withstand the pressures of the Colosseum and endure to the end to win the prize.

    The Blasphemy Challenge

Why do people do this? Is is merely to get attention? There really is no point. If you do not believe in God, then why go through all of the silly antics. However, they should note Pascal's Wager. A loose paraphrase would be that if God does not exist, then it does not matter if you believe or blaspheme God. We all die and that is it. However if He does exist and you do not believe in Him, or in this case, blaspheme Him, then the consequences are dire. Consequently to play it safe, one may as well believe. This is certainly not proof of the existence of God (there are proofs), but it makes one think - or it should make one think.

    Atheist Clubs in School?

Student Opinion Question | Would People Join an 'Atheist Club' in Your School? - NYTimes.com: "Would People Join an ‘Atheist Club’ in Your School?

From the New York Times - It is apparently a valid question whether there should be atheist clubs in school. This is a surprising question since there are all kinds of decadent clubs in our schools today including even sanctioned homosexual clubs. Many school kids join these clubs even though they are not homosexual. They merely want to show their support to those who are. Gone are the days of a negative stigma of such a lifestyle.  Now atheists too want their own club. One must ask, to what end? What is the purpose for such a club. It is perplexing why there are organizations centered around atheists at all. Why do they care if some believe in a higher power? Why are they eager to get more converts to non-belief? It must be the same reason a local drug dealer wants to obtain more converts. It  makes them feel better and it could even line their pockets. It is still a baffling question.

The new push for atheist clubs in school will meet little resistance. If local families hear that such a club is forming, they will merely shrug it off and move on with their lives as our society spirals down to the depths of immorality and selfish-idolatry.

Rabbi calls for sacrifice on Temple Mount

Rabbi calls for sacrifice on Temple Mount - Israel Jewish Scene, Ynetnews: "The annual attempts to resume the Passover sacrifice received a first significant rabbinical backing recently. Safed's Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, a prominent religious Zionism leader, has called on the public to perform the sacrifice mitzvah on the eve of the Jewish holiday, in about two weeks."

Ever wonder how the Jewish faith transformed after the destruction of the Temple in AD 70? How did the followers of Judaism go from making sacrifices at the temple for the sins that they committed to not making any sacrifices at all? How do they now think their sins are forgiven? They do believe, as Christians do, that without blood, there is no remission of sin.
israelnationalnews.com As the holiday of Passover (Pesach) nears, interest focuses on the Temple Mount, where the Torah mandates that at least one Paschal sacrifice for the entire nation – and ideally, one for each household – should be offered on Passover.
Perhaps subsequent generations take passages such as the Prayer of Azariah and use it as a substitute:
[14] For we, O Lord, are become less than any nation, and be kept under this day in all the world because of our sins.
[15] Neither is there at this time prince, or prophet, or leader, or burnt offering, or sacrifice, or oblation, or incense, or place to sacrifice before thee, and to find mercy.
[16] Nevertheless in a contrite heart and an humble spirit let us be accepted.
[17] Like as in the burnt offerings of rams and bullocks, and like as in ten thousands of fat lambs: so let our sacrifice be in thy sight this day, and grant that we may wholly go after thee: for they shall not be confounded that put their trust in thee.
However, the Jew that is honest with himself still longs for the day of a rebuilt temple where sacrifice can be made. A day is approaching where a rebuilt temple will stand on the Temple Mount. Look for the signs that will precede that day. It is coming.

Video of Temple Mount from Jewish Perspective

This is a video of Rabbi Chaim Richman in his 2005 tour of the Temple Mount. It is very informative and gives one a perspective of the holiness of God. Remember that this is the spot were God's presence dwelt on Earth. The Temple Mount was taken by Israel during the Six Day War in 1967. However, they have left virtual control of the area in Muslim hands ever since. There is an Israeli police presence, but the Muslim Waqf essentially calls the shots. This video will give you a greater appreciation for the Temple Mount's importance and why it should no longer be in Muslim control.

Note: Picture quality of the video is good.

    part 2

Longing for the Fiscally Conservative Days of "Tax and Spend"

It is a wacky world when the "tax and spend" days were actually more fiscally sound than these "borrow and spend" days. At least when you tax you actually have the money. Building up more and more debt, principally owed to foreign governments who hate us, only enslaves us currently and ruins the future of those that come after us. This is not debt that our children will pay. No future generation will have the fortitude to spend less than they make to pay back the enormous bills we are incurring. What will happen is the economy will collapse and there will be massive defaults. If only we had leaders that would lead.

Raise the debt ceiling? No. We should lower the debt ceiling and pay back the debt that we owe. The United States will no longer be able to maintain its preeminence in the world if this is not rectified soon.
